History (that you don't care about)

  • I grew up across the street from the cotton gin outside of a town that's outside of a town that you haven't heard of.
  • I went to Arkansas State University, met my wife, and learned some stuff.
  • My first job was for a guy named Jim at this shitty little company where we might or might not get paid. It turned out that Jim liked to do scammy work for MLMs. I stopped doing that real quick.
  • We moved to Houston. I don't recommend it.
  • I did some EDI work there for about a year. It was real boring but I learned a lot (I guess).
  • We moved back to Arkansas to the big city of Little Rock. My grandpa told me I was getting too big for my britches.
  • I went to work remotely for Rockfish Interactive. It was a great "trial by fire" place to work. I got a lot of shit done.
  • I started a business with a good friend and did a ton of great work.
  • I spent about five years at the Information Network of Arkansas and got to do a bunch of really cool mapping work.
  • Now I'm at Apptegy doing a bunch of work I'm really proud of. This is really where I honed my leadership chops.

Leader, Engineer, Mentor

Typing up a bunch of stuff about yourself is weird right? I could put a bunch of AI generated bullshit here but I'm not going to. What you really want to know is "can this guy program" and the answer is "Yeah, I can hold my own". I'm good at getting shit done. I'm really good at leading a team to get shit done together.
